Cable or Satellite or None?

My family doesn't have cable or satellite so we only get "basic" channels. Most people can't believe this when I tell them it, but it's the sad truth.
Usually, I'm okay with it, but tonight's Saturday, and I know there are anime I really like on.

Chinese Food

When my sister and I were really young, our parents brought home Chinese food. My sister, Christy, had Sweet 'n' Sour Chicken. After supper, my sister barfed on my head. Nowadays, Chinese food, especially sweet 'n' sour chicken, is her fav food. Isn't that ironic.

I can't help but wonder if it's her fav because she barfed on my head.

AC WAS FIXED!

Last night, the AC was finally fixed at our dorm, so we didn't spend a night in sweaty, hot discomfort. It was quite nice. I think I may have had 8 hours of sleep.

Moose

My mom doesn't believe that moose exist because she's never seen a live one. She's been to Maine, Washington, and Yellowstone, and she still hasn't seen one. I, on the other hand, believe they do exist even though I went to Maine and Yellowstone and haven't seen one.
Anyway, we (as in the rest of my family) all tease her for not believing that moose exist.

The King of Condiments

How many of you get the channel called "WBGU" on your T.V.?
Well, did you know that a program on that actually won an Emmy.
Sure, it wasn't a National Emmy, but a Regional Emmy, but an Emmy's an Emmy.

A couple years ago, my Dad created a documentary on ketchup. Yes, ketchup. And it was really good. And, no, I'm not baised because he's my Dad. It really was good.
Even I played a role in its completion. My family went to Collinsville, Illinois during our summer vacation in order to tape a Ketchup Festival that was annual there. Because there were 6 in my family, my dad didn't have to bring a crew.
My sister handled the mike, I went around and had people sign Release Forms so they could be taped, my brothers' took turns carrying the lens cap, my Mom watched the boys, and my Dad taped.
Finally, (way later that same year, in the fall) my Dad won his Emmy.

Some Stuff About Me

I'm afraid I was rather rude on the first day because I forgot to post my profile.
Hi! My name is Alissa. I have an older sister named Christy and two younger brothers that are ferternal twins named Trevor and Brian. I have a Mom's who's a teacher (you would know this if you read things from my blog) and a Dad that works at a T.V. studio.
I like reading (Bookworm, and proud of it), writing, drawing in the style of anime and manga, manga and anime (especially Inuyasha), cartoons, the colors, pink, purple, blue, and yellow, ice skating, country music, soundtracks, dogs, cats (cats a little more than dogs), tigers elephants, and playing on the Internet.
Well, I think that's about it for now.
Oh, wait, I sometimes like school. (Do not say that I'm weird)

Thank You, God, for Fans

Okay, the AC at our dorm is still broken, but at least I had my fan tonight. It made a big difference. I'm really glad someone invented the electric fan. I don't even know who did. I'll look it up sometime.
Maybe.
